The post is about my second idea. This idea is based on a song by Izzy Bizu and her song White Tiger. The song and its music video are below.
After listening to this song I applied it to the area about the singer and the dancers. This was applied as I thought that with the singer being the main part and during the up beat parts of the song the dancers would do a choreographed piece.
This video would mainly be filmed using a set. An idea that I came up with for the singers set would be for it to be similar yet different that the original video and for the set to be colourful. The dancers set would be quite pale, such as all white with something to fill the set up with as well as the dancers. But it can't be too delicate as the song is quite up beat (fast) and the set has to show that.
The singer wouldn't be doing much movement as I would cut to the dances quite often to make the music video more upbeat and fun to watch, as it is a key goal to make it fun to watch and be a part of.
In this initial idea I decided to make the character and the song synthetic to the singer. I am going to show this in the video by having the camera only with the singer when she is singing. The dancers would be cut into the music video when there is a break in the lyrics and wen there is a beat. However, at the end of the song where the beat slows down there would need to be a change in pace for the dancers, for example throughout the song the dancing will be fast and exciting but at the end it will need to be slowed down.
I have decided that I would like there to be a narrative to the music video but I am not sure what to make of it, therefore I can't decide on what the story is fully going to be.
