After we got the light set up and working it was time to start shooting. Callum made a small script for Ben to read for continuity in our sequence. We started with the middle part of the sequence as we were unable to film the start with the van at that moment but we could film inside the container so it all worked out. We got Ben and Carlotta to get ready as we got the camera and its settings all sorted out.

What happened on our day (3)
After we put on the sheet we closed the shipping container to see the lighting inside and we found tat it may have been too dark to film in even though we wanted a sort of dark scene we could edit the lighting in the camera settings and that is what we did. We got someone to help us put in the light in the middle of the room and it was attached by a this piece of string so that the audience wouldn't really be able to see it:

When setting up our shipping container we realised that we were going to have to cover up the dirty tables in the middle of the room as they had paint and glitter all over them. We found a plain white bed sheet which we laid over the two tables. We then realised that if we were going to make it a derelict scene then we would have to make it a bit dirty, so I put it in the bark and with my shoes I rubbed it in the dirt:

What happened on our day (1)
We started off the day by going straight to our media classroom at 08:50 in the morning to wait for our teacher to tell us when to meet Matt and Luke who were accompanied by another man, Tom, who would be helping us with continuity and camera shots and movement. We made our move to the editing suit where we would meet the three teachers and the other group filming on that day. We were taken down to the shipping containers, behind the studio, where we would be filming and we started to clear out the container to make some space for our cast to work. Our cast had not arrived at that point as they were needed in lessons, so we let them know that that was fine but we would need them at around 10:00am. There is a time lapse taken on Callum's iPhone 5 to which shows the emptying and refilling of the containers at the beginning and at the end of the day below. When our cast arrived we got them into their costumes and we got them to get in position so we could start our shoot. We were given the Canon 5D at the start of the shoot but when setting it all up we decided that it would be too difficult to film the opening thriller sequence. They swapped the 5D with the Sony NX5and we were on our way. They gave us a tripod and a shotgun microphone with a pistol grip:
